Another Brazilian star is set to call Orlando home, while a veteran MLS defender/midfielder is training with a new club.
Orlando City announced on Wednesday that the club has signed midfielder Júlio Baptista, who has scored eight goals in 45 career caps with Brazil. The former Real Madrid and Arsenal midfielder most recently featured for Brazilian club Cruzeiro. (REPORT)
Former Philadelphia Union, Orlando City and Sporting KC midfielder/defender Amobi Okugo is training with the New York Red Bulls. Head coach Jesse Marsch said that Okugo can be “a short and long-term solution” for a club with several injuries at centerback. (REPORT)

Real Salt Lake head coach Jeff Cassar says that Juan Manuel ‘Burrito’ Martinez will be suspended for an April 2 matchup with Sporting KC due to a tackle on Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe.
